President - Michael Mackay
Mike Mackay is a member of ATU, Local 587. I am an out, loud, and proud gay cisgender man. I am currently a Co-chair of my employer’s LGBTQIA+ Employee Regular Group, a longtime volunteer and advocate at Lambert House (the oldest LGBTQIA+ youth center in the world), on our Labor Management Resolution Committee, have received contract bargaining and safety compliance training from our international as well as a long-time shop steward with grievance experience, and am honored to be an Executive Board Member for Local #587. I have been the Equal Employment/Affirmative Action Committee Vice President and At-Large Learning Coordinator for my employer I take pride in and knowledge from the positions I have held and currently hold.

Kelley Oaks is a member of the ATU, Local 587. As a transgender woman and a lesbian, knowing that the ATU has fought so hard to help make transit safe and supportive of the LGBT community locally has helped her advance her life and career in ways that she could not have imagined at younger ages. She is overjoyed at the chance to help make a difference and hopes to leave a firm foundation for this caucus to build upon.

Recording Secretary - Stephanie Binschus
Stephanie Binschus brings many talents as Chief Shop Steward for the second largest of local #587’s properties, an instrumental notetaker and document preparer for negotiations, and leader of our website committee. Outside of ATU, she is currently a Co-chair for the Esprit Gala Convention, which is a weeklong transgender convention that has been happening since 1990. Another set of skills she has is being a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), though not currently practicing, through the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) and facilitating Zoom host for the Kitsap County Chapter of Medical Assistants (KCCMA).
