April 20, 2024 Meeting Minutes
President Michael Mackay called the Meeting to order at 13:05 Eastern 10:05 Pacific.

Minutes Review/Discussion
March Meeting Minutes were displayed; there was no discussion, and the minutes were approved.
Approve the Agenda
There was an error on the approval of the minutes section, and the agenda was approved with correction.
AGENDA Items:
Taxes
Financial Secretary/Treasure Oaks and President Mackay talked about filing to become a non-profit with the IRS.
Discussion about Pride Planning
President Mackay talked about the letter that he and Recording Secretary Binschus sent to Office of the President and having ATU Leadership participate in a PRIDE event. We also talked about recognition of LGBTAI+ ATU Leadership.
Business not on Agenda from membership
Discussion on the meaning of our "Purpose and Mission" statement and the effect.
President Mackay asked for everyone to think about referrendoms and think about making a change to how people make their greeting to "Sisters, Brothers, and Siblings" at the international conference.
Motion to end this meeting by Sandi with a second by Brendan; Motion carried at 14:07 ET/11:07 PT.
